It's probably redundant to call a King Crimson album "odd," but this one really is unusual in the context of their other albums. This pressing has INCREDIBLE dynamics: you can see the huge peaks and valleys on the vinyl grooves themselves. The songs alternate between bemusing folk-y hushed vocals and full-on jazz-rock sonic attacks.
